Ed in Training

Ed is still in training. He should have completed his fourth week by now and yes, he already went into the gas chamber! I can only say that I don't look forward to that.

So far, he has also completed the obstacle course, confidence course, 2-mile march, Land Mines, 4-mile march, portions of BRM (Basic Rifle Marksmanship) and his first PT assessment. It sounds like he's doing well although he had bronchitis, his back was hurting from having to carry all the load while doing the march and to top it off, their sleep is always disrupted. I wonder if they get to sleep at all, really. I would be completely knackered if I get only 6 hours of sleep, but I am just spoiled that way.

At this point, I've written so many letters to him, but I have no idea if he had received it at all. (Imagine, no email!)
