Wikipedia, Truth & Politics
So a couple guys from Berkeley code up this cool Wikipedia thing with a set of rules and protocols for handling disputes and disagreements about entries. Well, a funny thing is happening over there. This system they've created is turning around and biting their Liberal Berkeley butts. It turns out that liberals make up a lot of shit, you know, part of their theory about the ends justifying the means and such (just go read some DailyKos for a bunch of examples of this thinking).
As hard as they try, the liberal editors at Wikipedia are being knocked down with the truth. I'll keep posting examples, but this one is classic.
It all turns on the policy debate concerning naming rape accusers. There seems to be a lot of Wiki editors who have strong political views or personal feelings about this issue. Watching them contort to hide their bias behind Wiki-rules is amazing, and wonderful when they lose to the truth.
This page about Crystal Gail Mangum, the escort/stripper/car theif/attempted cop-killer who has accused the Duke players of rape, is the current result of this behind-the-scenes wiki debate. I think this is going to be my new hobby, watching Wiki expose all the liberal lies. What should I look up next, Valerie Plame?

Interesting to see Wiki might be swinging the other way, or at least toward the middle, now that conservatives are taking to the 'net. Wikipedia has been a den of leftism since its inception. I've sat in on their IRC channels where they monitor changes to "sensitive" topics and instantly revert changes they don't like.
