Huge is an understatement. The march has surrounded the White House. Hundreds of thousands. This is the largest march I have seen in the over two decades that I have been attending.
The crowd is diverse, a true cross-section of American culture.
The march is unable to move because there are so many people coming in from all directions. Constitution Avenue is a wall of humanity. I am up on the hill that holds the Washington Monument, looking down on the crowd. This is a massive, massive showing.
CNN said tens of thousands--not "hundreds of thousands"
C'mon Pitt, et al, can you ever get the facts straight?
As for the Iraq veterans that are there--you might want to talk to some other vets that DO support the war.
I remember 35 years ago when "vets" of "nam talked about their "experiences". Funny how so many of them mistook Duluth for Da Nang.
As for the Japanese, you ought to have seen the Tokyo Broadcasting report on your 'demonstration'. Most of it was dedicated to calling you folks the "dregs" of "American Society"
I was sure to tell the nice Japanese ladies that many of the protesters were recycling back through, and we'd seen many of them three or four times, so the numbers weren't as big as they claimed.
Their best question was if we were afraid with all the protestors around. I said no, we all support free speech.
So, it didn't sound so good in Tokyo? That's too bad. And after I encouraged them in Japanese, too. *sigh*
Holy cow v, you certainly do have a lot of time for spewing hate. Could it possibly be that you didn't find the weed you were looking for at the rally?
Or did all of the ho's turn you down?
The Japanese were doing something that CNN has given up on . . . truth in reporting.

Isn't that nice of the Japanese. They feel sorry for you, you're so outnumbered. They know how it feels, I supposed.
Japanese are so polite. They also know how ridiculous your little lame pro-war squealing is--and to the Japanese, that's news!
Don't you wish you could see how you're going to appear? Don't you wish you had some control over it?

We have to march around a clot of counter-demonstrators who are being thunderously shouted down.
The Iraq veterans are here. The streets of DC are wild.
THE IRAQ WAR VETERANS ARE HERE, AND THEY DON'T SUPPORT YOU . . .
Commando.

CNN is estimating the crowd here to be more than six hundred thousand strong.
If CNN says it, it must be true.
Wow.

The sad saga continues. Nonsense, nonsense everywhere and not a drop of truth.
As people say, one shouldn't drink alone. I also say, one shouldn't argue alone.

Japanese television is referring to the protesters as " unemployed , and addicted to drugs".
