I guess they were too busy to show their real support.

"About 400 people gathered near a stage on an eastern segment of the mall, a large patchwork American flag serving as a backdrop."

Ummm, it was YOUR protest idiot - we were just crashing it.

BTW 60 million for Bush in the election. Republicans in the House, Senate and the White House. Now tell me again how strong your numbers are?

Liberals might have won the battle garnering the hearts and minds of the American people during the Vietnam War, but this time, it's not going to happen. Looking back on history, liberals were wrong back then when America left Vietnam and 2 million people were murdered. This is not going to happen again.

Also many people who support this country, our President, and our troops have jobs, pay taxes and raise their families. They might not be able to attend rallies, but they for one, vote, which is more important than just holding a sign.

Those on the left seem to have all the time in the world. What do you do for a living? What is your contribution to America? How do you feed yourselves? Will you have a nest egg to retire on? It just puzzles me.

100,000 whose opinions are wrong about the the War on Terror.

Margaret Meade was correct in her philosophy:

"It is the few individuals, despite their usually unpopular view, that make the difference that matters in this world. It is a universal fact that the right thing to do is never the popular ideal."

Anonymous masses goose-stepping to the same manifesto never accomplished as much as a dedicated few.

For what it's worth, it looked to me more like 26,000 or so. In other words, the same kind of weeknight crowd at a Nats game and more than triple that at FedEx field for a Skins game.

300,000 people are perfectly free to have the wrong opinion..

It warms my heart to know there are millions upon millions that have the "right" opinion and express that opinion with their vote!
